growth in the personal computer, enterprise software, and networked
devices markets. His achievements have been featured in Wall Street
Journal, CRN, Wireless News, Byte, Computer Chronicles, and NBC, as
well as other business media.
Max has achieved company and product turnarounds and is
recognized for his success in growing sales and profits. His
strategic approach to building a business is reflected in his work
as CEO of Rapport Technologies and Ashton Tate, where his concept
creation and focus on channel development, combined with
product-line mix, delivered bottom-line results.
He also has brought his problem identification and project
leadership skills to bear to deliver timely, outsourced results to
major corporations such as Microsoft, IBM, Compaq, Pana-Pacific,
Pepsi, and Digital Equipment.
His turnaround capability is highlighted by his accomplishments
as President of the Commodore, Ashton Tate, and ITT where he led
distressed companies to profitability and growth through brand
revitalization that included major shifts in brand strategy,
operations, product design, packaging, market positioning,
communications, and channel alignment.
