Billy Joe DuPree, Manager
Billy Joe DuPree is an internationally recognized, master-level
athlete, as well as a successful businessman. Much of the
country knew Billy Joe as 'TE DuPree,' the tight end who played in
three Super Bowls, two of which were as a Dallas Cowboy. His
level of dedication to his craft led to his being named College All
American in 1973, nominated as Rookie of the Year his first year
out, and later as the Cowboys NFL Man of the Year. He has
since been inducted to the College Blue/Grey Football Classic Hall
of Fame, the Texas State African-American Sports Hall of Fame, and
the Louisiana State Hall of Fame.
Billy Joe has gone on to develop a distinguished career.
He was CEO and President of CWC Construction Company in Dallas, and
held leadership positions with the City of Dallas, and as a
Presidential Appointee for both the White House Conference on Small
Business and Wage Committee, Federal Department. He has
contributed an extraordinary amount of time to his community,
serving on eight boards and supporting nine different
foundations.
He holds an M.B.A. Certification in Business Administration from
Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and an Associates
Degree Equivalent from Michigan State University, majoring in
Building Construction Management.
