Dennis Cagan, Chief Executive Officer
Dennis Cagan is a high-technology industry authority, and
well-respected c-level executive, consultant, venture capitalist,
private investor and professional board member. Dennis'
career spans 43 years of founding and leading a wide variety of
information technology, software, services and Internet
firms. He has done business in 35 countries and has an
impressive track record of both start-up and turn-around
situations.
In 1976, Dennis turned his fifth start-up, David Jamison Carlyle
Corporation, into one of the country's largest distributors of
computer peripherals, taking it public in 1981. He served as
Chairman, CEO and President of TWL Corporation based in Carrollton,
Texas, and was also founder, Chairman and CEO of the Santa
Barbara Technology Group, LLC, a private incubator and venture
capital firm that invests in early-stage technology
companies. He currently serves on four corporate Boards of
Directors.
Over the years, Dennis has offered consulting services to
companies such as AT&T, IBM, General Electric, and U.S. West,
among others. He has authored dozens of articles, and in
1979, served as the Keynote Speaker at the first COMDEX Show in Las
Vegas. Dennis attended the University of California at Los
Angeles (UCLA) where he majored in economics, and has an honorable
discharge from the USMC.
